Measure the blade only, excluding the handle. The 6-inch model is intended for compatible blades up to 6 inches long.

Blade width, thickness, curvature and heel shape also affect compatibility. The entire blade must fit inside, covering the cutting edge and tip, and the locking tabs must close completely without forcing the guard.
