Check the fit before you start
Designed for standard nominal 1 × 2-inch wood stakes, with a sleeve opening listed at 1-5/8 × 1-3/8 inches. Measure the actual wood rather than relying only on its nominal size.
The anchor is 16 inches overall, with a 10-inch ground section and 6-inch locking body. Firm, compact soil is recommended in the product specifications.
Follow the instructions to drive the anchor into suitable soil, insert the wood stake and secure it with the locking screws. Check the ground for buried utilities and other obstructions before driving anything into it.
