Meet The Founder: Kevin Cody
Meet Kevin Cody, Founder of FLI Products
Practical products. Made to last.
Kevin Cody founded FLI Products to connect customers with useful products for everyday life. Based in Dandridge, Tennessee, FLI Products is a family-owned company bringing together practical products for the kitchen, garden, home, storage, and outdoors.
A Business Built Around Useful Products
FLI Products focuses on explaining what a product does, where it fits into daily life, and how to choose the right option. Knife protection, root-zone watering, portable storage, and outdoor cord connection protection are examples of the everyday needs its products address.
FLI-Owned Brands
FLI Products owns Blade Guard, CrateMate, and AnchorStake. Supporting these brands is one part of the business; offering complementary products from selected partners is another.
- Blade Guard: Knife protection for drawers, chef rolls, camping kits, and travel. Explore Blade Guard knife protection.
- CrateMate: Milk crate storage and organization for workshops, vehicles, and everyday use. Explore CrateMate storage.
- AnchorStake: Ground anchors for outdoor setup and securing equipment. Explore AnchorStake ground anchors.
Complementary Partner Brands
Alongside its own brands, FLI Products offers complementary products from selected partners, including CordSafe, Flex Strainer, IQ America, LBO Armor, PeggyBack, Pouro, Tomato Crater, Stake It, Stratus, and Travel Trable. These partner brands are not owned by FLI Products.
This combination brings together useful options for everyday tasks, from kitchen preparation and garden care to storage and outdoor projects. The Stratus® Professional Precision Rain Gauge is one example of a partner product that helps customers keep track of conditions in their own gardens.
American-Made and Imported Products
FLI Products supports American manufacturing while also selling selected imported products. Country of origin is product-specific, not a claim about every item in the catalog. For example, plastic Blade Guard knife guards are Made in USA, while Blade Guard chef rolls are not. Pouro and IQ America are not Made in USA.
Check individual product pages for country of origin, materials, dimensions, and compatibility so you can choose the right option for your needs. You can also browse the Made in USA collection.
A Practical Approach to Growth
The company's direction is to build a complementary range of useful products and explain their applications clearly. For customers, that means easier product selection. For retailers and business partners, it means a multi-brand business organized around recognizable everyday needs rather than a single product category.
Learn From Tom
Learn From Tom brings a practical, neighborly voice to FLI's product education: ideas for safer, smarter, healthier family living. Its guides connect real situations in the home, garden, and outdoors with relevant products and straightforward advice.
