Why a Wider Basket?
Standard sink strainers are sized to fit the drain opening itself. The Flex Strainer Basket extends beyond the drain, sitting across a wider area of the sink bowl. This means more surface area to catch debris before it reaches the drain, fewer clogs, and better performance during high-volume tasks like washing produce, draining pasta, or rinsing dishes.
The Same Flexible, Glass-Safe Material
Like all Flex Strainer products, the Basket is made from soft thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) — a BPA-free, food-safe material that cushions glassware on impact. When a glass tips over in the sink, the flexible basket absorbs the impact instead of concentrating it, dramatically reducing breakage risk compared to hard metal strainer baskets.
Easy to Clean
Turn it inside out over the trash to dump collected debris, then rinse under water or toss it in the dishwasher. No tight corners or mesh to scrub.
